Emily, that series of shots with film footage is exemplary, You have done a great job in capturing a beautiful bird in a beautiful way.

I am lucky to see wildlife every day and I just Love Robin, but this is inspiring for anyone to go out and try to capture such a wonderful story.

I have added this as my favourite Film of Robin.

Superb, Thanks for sharing.

Regards

Rob

A wonderful study of an individual- it's great to see these rare or elusive animals but this film shows that so much can be gained from observing the common everyday species which a lot of us take for granted- thanks for sharing Li'l Larry with us:)

Thanks everyone!  He is such a special bird, I still see him on the odd occasion, he pic pic pics when I call his name, so I know he's not far.  At one point he would sit next to me & sing feed out of my hand, preen - feathers would float over my head.  Once he was so relaxed in my company he sat & sunbathed next to me - the last 3 shots of the film show the time - I was lost for words!  Every morning he would greet me in the garden, he'd fly onto my head, stay there for a few seconds, chirp in my ear & then so somersaults in the trees above.  He had a great sense of fun!  Now he's grown up... I once thought, I never want him to grow up!  But he's now a beautiful adult robin & I really hope he sticks around! :)

It is always so special when we are lucky enough to connect with a living creature like this... something very precious. Robins are quite amazing... I had one that used to feed out of my hand and I never ever tired of the thrill that I got when his tiny feet alighted on my finger tips!

What a beautiful bird, much more colourful than our Candian robin, which is gray and orange. But aren't they a fascinating bird to watch and be near. A great start to being a film-maker, Emily.
