If only Snow wasn't cold and wet for wildlife photography!!

Think i must be one of the few crazy women out there who enjoys sitting in a hide, or on a forest floor to photograph !

It seems winter photography clothing for women is scarce?!

However, i have found if you buy a pair of mens stealthgear trousers you can alter them to fit a womens figure!! and so keep dry in the snow!!  (and much better than crackly ski trousers i had last winter!)

Any other women out there who are also crazy like me and enjoys winter photography, and have found good winter photography gear,  it would be great to hear what, and where from :)

I will be out again tomorrow pm (after picking wedding food choices!!) so hopefully i'll get a fwe good snowy pics from the pinewood feeding site.

thanks for reading ! :)

The things us women go through for the pursuit of nature!  I've kept lots of old leggings from when they were in fashion - what - ten years ago?! I wear them underneath my camo trousers that I got from a charity shop. Charity shops are great if you have a rummage around and you never know what you might find!  I also got one of those little fold up hiking mats for sitting on that keep your bum dry!  If there's a gap in the market maybe we ought to take up sewing as a hobby as well?!  Lovely sunny day today after all that horrible wind. Got the trail cam aimed at the bird table.... Sandy

HA HA, I remember my three visits to Neils Hide.... it was like carry on photography.... brilliant memories.  Yeh I normally suffer from wet bum syndrome as well, I usually come back soaked after trekking with otters along our shore line, but its worth it.  Stealth is a good choice though, someone once said just to get second hand army kit which works well.  I once brought up the subject about womens clothing with a Stealth person, glad someone else has seen the gap in the market....!!
