FROM CHRISTMAS DAY AND BOXING DAY I COUNTED OVER 100 IN MY FRONT GARDEN

From Christmas Day and Boxing Day I counted over 100 birds and ether a blue tit or grey tit went inside the nest box last spring we had a family of blue tits for the first time

They had 5 chicks I did not have a pair of binoculars to hand to make a clear identification

Whether I wonder if it was just roosting or thinking this will make a nice home to bring a family up in.

In the guttering of the house we have Swallow’s each year  I notice some small birds are using the nest at the moment but have not caught it on camera as yet  at present I have 5 nest boxes in all got get some open ones for robin and the like as all mined at present are like this one  and at present I have one Bird table and 3 feeding stations in the back garden all having 5 hooks on them  and two in my cherry tree,
