Hi Derek,

Only just noticed your post on the "Deer In The UK" group wall - I haven't been online for a while.

You say no Roe Deer were recorded in the count back in April at the Wyre Forest - were any Red Deer recorded? Somebody told me they had a sighting of a Red Deer stag near Dowles Brook last year but on many visits there myself I haven't seen any signs of Red Deer ....

I had better luck with Red Deer at Cannock over the weekend just gone!

Cheers,

Rob

Thanks Derek

You know yourself that when the female prostrates herself like this it does not take long for the male to take advantage, I am waiting to see whether the Coots or the Grebes win out at this site!

Regards Richard

I don't know how old you are, but it sounds like you have seen some Sights here in the U.S ?
I am 60 years old and Started Shooting 8 mm movie film back in the 1970's, then super 8mm, then 16 mm
I started shooting Video, ( VHS and 3/4 " ) in 1979.
Back then Everything cost so much, that I did weddings, party's and Things like that to pay for the Video Toys. I just now started to try shooting some wildlife. But I already Know that It is a Real Treat to Get shots like you have on your Videos, GREAT STUFF !!!
Like I said this Chat stuff is New to me so, I don't know if I have written to long or not ? I have been Lucky and Have seen 48 of the U.S.. States, and Parts of Canada, South Amer. Have some Stills of My Trips, but none of wildlife,
That is why I'm so Happy that I found this Site.
