I hope you find some good stuff, like I say Hempton near Fakenham has an amazing field of poppies and there are a few more poppy fields out towards Castle Acre as well - not sure if you can see them in the car though!! I drive a lorry so I can see over the hedges, get to see a lot of things people in cars cant see!!!!!!

Where did you do the photography course? I too wanted to get of the automatic button and felt the course went a long way in helping me do that. I see you too are from norfolk, if you have the edp did you see the readers picture of the poppies at Hempton? Thats the veiw I wake upto every morning. It would be a good subject for your red theme!!

I wouldnt say birds are my main interest, I guess its just the way it pans out when out and about. Although I do love owls and hawks. Especially as there are a few owls in my area and also the marsh harriers at Sculthorpe. I do love the countryside and will take photos of anything that comes along, I dont really go out with a plan to take photos of anything specific, although I did get up early a couple of weeks ago to get the shots of the barn owl! What are your main subjects that you like taking pictures of?

Hi Denise, the course was excellent! It was really extremely informative and the Mikes and Peirs are amazingly good tutors as well as being very knowledgable. I was out of my comfort zone doing the macro stuff on the first day but learnt a lot about macro photography and will, in time, probably get a lens so I can give it another go!! The second day at the animal park was more my thing and I got some really good shots of the otters and meerkats. I am really pleased I went on the course and felt the fee was well worth it.
