Sorry that I have been absent for a while. The osprey nest near my home blew down in gales last September but with help of Forestry Commission it has now been rebuilt.I will update if my pair XL…Continue

A wee story from yesterday....

It was about 5.30pm & I was in hide, XL eating fish in tree next to me, M on nest – all peaceful!! Until a guy on a mountain bike hurtles down forestry track quite oblivious to ospreys….& me! Next thing M also hurtles off nest & dive bombs the guy on the bike!! 4 times!!! Well he was screaming… & very nearly went over edge of cliff!! He was distraught! Osprey nest is about 80 metres from track but above & below the track the ground is almost vertical.
