Just a quick idea, on the main page there is a "Latest Activity" area and I feel that this is quite small, would it be possible to link it to a new page that will show more Latest Activity as…Continue

They are such showy birds.  Did well in the panic to get some shots off, normally by the time I have got the camera, they have flown!

Great shot. I love how the colour of the foliage tone with the colours of the bird's plumage

Hi Steven,

though I would reply to your twitter @'s on here as quicker, :)

re: @PaulRyanEdwards up at 5? thought you'd be up earlier as its your last day with that amazing toy!!! :-)

Yes not too early as ....to record with the Olympus i-speed 3 it's needs to be quite light to record at the high frame rates it does, the meadow which we were filming from is in a small valley so the sun has to be quite high to get to it and we wanted to get shots with some nice light on the barn owls :)

re: @PaulRyanEdwards lovely shot, sounds like u ave been having a lot of fun with slowmo camera - when will we b able to c the finished article?

Thanks, the footage is being shot for a 10min film we are producing and filming for BBC 1's Inside Out East to be broadcast in the next series starting from late oct after that date will have the film on our website & youtube channel ect with hopefully a few 'behind the scenes' videos and a new showreal (which we are also getting ready to show people at the wildscreen festival)

you'll be one of the first to know when we do 'release' the footage (via Twitter)

its all great stuff!

Best Wishes,

Ryan

I've just finished a 1 yr photography course as semi retired now & photography has become my main hobby. I wanted to learn how to take pictures & not use the automatic button. I really enjoyed the course & that was why i went on the wildlife weekend course you've just done. So in answer to your question i don't have a favourite subject either i am taking a lot of flowers at the moment as they are so colourful & look great have also done some of the birds in the garden. My instructor gives us a theme each month last month was "catch the sun" this month its 'red' so thats great fun. I try to take my camera out & about with me & catch what i can.

Hi Steven Yes I went on the Wildeye photography weekend & can recommend it. I am doing a photography course & wanted to learn more about taking photos of wildlife. The guys running the course are great & are really keen to help you in any way. It was a fantastic weekend & worth every penny. If you do it & you should you will have a great experience. Looking at your photos you have a great eye really like your shots. I haven't been to Pensthorpe yet but hoping to go when the weather improves.
