SO windy in fact that they flew en masse to the lower branches of the tree to stop being blown around!

Brigitte Anne Barnes replied to Richard Steel's discussion Waxwings"They were spotted in Dorset in December - unfortunately I did not see one, but there were sightings only a few miles away in Poole, Dorchester and, I think, Wareham or Wool. Those that had them in their gardens were extremely fortunate."
