Our combined love for Mother Earth began some twenty years ago, in a field, in Cambridgeshire, watching a skylark. We settled and travelled around the UK before settling in our Nordic home, Shetland.
Before that, we watched and loved wildlife in our respective parts of the world - David in Hampshire, and I, in the South-Eastern corner of France!

Some great footage and video from Shetland Nat, always welcome as I've missed the islands since leaving. Many a thanks due your way, that is for sure.
Dan Carrington said… Hi Nat- with regards the uploading of videos: i am not aware of any size restrictions as i have uploaded footage ranging from 1min in length to close to 15min ( so quite large files in some cases) and have never had a problem.
Best advice is give it a try- if too large then edit into 2 parts or spread footage over several videos.
Hope this is a little help and look forward to your first video:)
Apologies for not replying to your previous message regarding which Dan i was but didn't see it until now: In answer to your question; No i am not the Dan from RSPB although i did work for them in Wales. The reason i was on Shetland was as an ecological advisor for the new gas plant being built next to Sullom Voe- saw some great wildlife and truly fell in love with the islands but the land of my fathers called me home.
Regards Dan:)
