Hylaeus-hyalinatus_Male

Male White-Faced Bee (Hylaeus hyalinatus) in a rough hawkbit flower. These are tiny bees; 4-5mm and it needed my MP-E 65mm macro lens at x5 to get this close.

Another great macro shot Ed- they've got so much character to them when seen in detail-something we don't tend to notice as they fly by us everyday :)

Superb macro, great colours, light, comp and detail. Great technique also
