Can any one help with the identification

Hi All
Its not very clear, but can anyone tell me what it is, as it was flying high over my garden today in Suffolk. Run in to get my camera and managed to get a couple of photos before it was gone.

Sparrowhawk its hard to tell size but I get the impression of a less powerfully built bird than a Goshawk and it has a squared rather than rounded tail, based on its overall appearance of size I would guess female
