Hi All, I was hoping to go to Donna Nook on Friday to photograph the seals but there has been a disaster there. A high tide on Sunday has washed some of the pups out to sea and scattered others. The fence and path were damaged. LWT are asking people not to visit for a few days to let the seals settle down.

Hi everyone,
I've just completed my first wildlife documentary on the diversity in Northumberland. It has taken me several months to produce, film and narrate.
Please take a look and comment if you like it! Thanks.

Hi All,
Since my previous comment (below), my trail camera has photographed a pair of Roe Deer and Fawn, pair of Foxes and Cub, Badger, Barn Owl and lots of other species. From my hide I have set up there I have seen some 40 species of birds and 8 animals. Even a pair of Otters (a first for me). The weather's not been too kind of late. I usuall go to my hide there abouit 0530am, but that depends on the weather. Wet and windy, grey and overcast just isn't compatible with photography. Especially wildlife. Wind can carry your scent a long way. Dull days mean slow shutter speeds, again not to good for wildlife photography using telephoto lenses. But I go to the lake about twice a week, if only change the SD card in the trial camera and top up the food tray I have there to attract the wildlife.
Best wishes
Tony
Hi All,
I recently bought a Trail Camera andf sited it at my local patch, a private lake beside the river teign on south Devon. In just two days it has photographed two Foxes, a Roe Deer, Pair of Pheasants, a Heron and an Intruder (much to the delight of the land owner!). All in good quality photos. I now have it set to take video. A great piece of kit. Check out my web-site at www.microaviator.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk
