Hi
I have only been working with film for just over a year now and i made a documentary in the amazon this summer on a conservation project on the yellow tailed woolly monkey. I created a short trailer but im not totally happy with it. I was going to put a bit of narration on it? Any feedback would be brilliant, regarding anything.

Excellent footage,. well done, you certainly get the best out of the XL2. Yes I agree a narration is required. Nicely edited too..

My subjective two pence would be; I'd be about 98% happy if I'd made that, but I would be thinking about spending just a little longer on some of early wide angles, the first one particularly to avoid the cut under the titles. If the pace felt a bit slow when you were cutting it - it won't once the narration is over them.
The end doesn't feel quite right to me... but I'm not sure what I'd do about it. Maybe try a beat longer on black and fade title music pre-vision? Or it might be that the vision cuts, but there seems to be short fade on the music? (unless that's just what bongos sound like?!) Freeze the closing monkey shot for a few frames and a quick fade?
Just my opinion - feel free to disagree, vehemently.
Thanks Piers, I will add some narration and see then.
