Comment by Richard Claxton on March 6, 2011 at 18:24 I can not think where to start in this group, I have a habit on occasion to peruse the bookshelves in charity shops scanning the numerous mundane titles for books by naturalists, these I am sorry to say do not appear as often as I would like,
One of my best purchases was a book called Bird Watching Days written by a pair of Bird photographers in the 1960s.
An interesting book revealing their exploits in photographing several bird species.

With regards to books i would like to recommend 'Crow Country' by Mark Cocker-all about our corvids with historical information and observations made by the author.A great read and gives a new perspective on this much maligned family of birds.
