Just thought I'd mention the photo competition (link below) to anyone in the Suffolk area. The deadline for entries is 31st August so not long to enter if you're interested. I would have posted it here earlier but have only just found the site.

I'm a little concerned by this line in the rules for the competition. One has to be careful when submitting to competitiosn as many companies will use them to harvest photos - drawing in a large number of photos and getting the royalty free right to print and use that image any way they want - it saves them a fortune and costs them little in the way of the prize.
This one appears to be able to swing either way - they don't state that the right to publish and exhibit is limited to the competition promotion alone so they could be image harvesting through this competition.
If I were looking to enter I would contact them for clarification on this point and further recommend to them that clarification of their stance be put into the rules for the competition.
