Spent all day (11am-7:30 pm) on Thursday at the Outdoors show. The Wildlife Whisperer stand looked great (and I my opinon, which is admittedly a little biased, was the best thing there). It was a real oasis of calm, a great chill out zone and staffed by a very friendly bunch of folks to boot! Thanks to Simon, Marguerite, Jason, Debbie, Jerry, Gill and Kate for making me feel so welcome and putting up with my endless gassing. You were probably glad to get rid of me!!

If you can get on up or down to the show over the weekend, it will be well worth the trip. And while you're there, don't forget to sign up to Wildlife Whisperer, it is a truly fantastic project and Simon, Jason and the team need all our support to help it work.
Okay, it's £29.99 a year, and times are hard, but that's a small price to pay for exclusive access to a constantly increasing catalogue of brand new Simon King films (which won't be on the telly) along with a veritable feast of other features and fantastic advice and competitions.

It is so much more than a website, it's a way of life!

Andy
To the team at the show.   Keep up the good work, you're half way through!   Make sure you eat well and drink plenty, we don't want any of you collapsing from dehydration or exhaustion!

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your kind comments - it's so appreciated.

We missed you today - thanks for you help yesterday being an extra set of eyes and ears - great stuff.

We were very good today making sure we drank plenty ;-)

Hopefully we'll see you again at one of the other shows, and your family too.  In the meantime keep in touch on here and at WW.

All the best from the team.  :-)

Great day at the show today, loads of visitors, the whole team didn't stop pretty much all day.

Stand is absolutely amazing, Simons talk was brilliantly entertaining, and Simon is on the stand all day too, none of this leaving other people to do the work, like some people would.

Was great to meet people I've only met virtually, what an outstanding day, back tomorrow, after a little trip to wildlife photographer of the year show in the morning. :o)

Jason and Simon, and everybody else involved, I wish you all the luck in the world with this :o) its going to be epic

Hi Gill and Team

It's the final day,( did I hear some cheers in the background)........... Congratulations, you're on the home straight!

Well done to all of you for making it this far, it's sounds like you are having a very busy and exhausting weekend.

In my medical opinon I recommend at least a week of combined fresh (not air conditioned) air and walking, wildlife watching and photography/filmmaking to enable a speedy recovery and a recharge of those batteries!!

Keep up the excellent work, it's a fantastic project you're involved with.

Kindest Regards (and hugs all round)

Andy

Another great day at the show again today, after a little visit to the Wildlife Photographer of the year show, which is an amazing display, some pictures i really loved, others i thought were a bit poor to be honest. But then thats my opinion, and as opinions are like bums, ie everybody has one ;) hehehehe

The stand wasnt quite as busy today as yesterday, everybody was working hard again though, and loads of people visited again :)

Has been great to meet Simon, Debbie, Jerry and Gill. Was good to bump into Jason again too, and its always great to see Kate :)

Have met some great people over the couple of days :)

Hope the team get packed up ok this evening and back to Somerset ok, ill be posting some of my pics up in Gill's gallery a little later tonight :)

Ian

I went to the show on Saturday and visited the Wildlife Whisperer stand - which was fantastic. You have all put so much effort in. The displays were brilliant. Simon's talk was great, full of enthusiasm and laughter.....and some animal sounds made with plumbing pipes! Amazing!

After a long 4 days I hope you all got back safetly and can have a break!

Well done to you all and thank you for a great day :)

Doh, you should have come and said hello :)
It was great to meet so many great, interested people on the stand over the 4 days. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the stand and it is good to be back in the fresh air of my garden, filling up my feeders and watching the birds feeding on my feeders! I must admit, it was pretty exhausting and after driving back to the Midlands last night, I was totally shattered. In bed by 9.30pm and I am fully recharged and looking forward to all the great things I am going to be doing and sharing with you all on Wildlife Whisperer :o))

A couple of pictures from Simon's talk about OS Maps on Thursday.

Its at times like this I dont like living on an island in the north sea, NO outdoor show up here, but knowing about half the team I am sure it was a cracking day.   Looking forward to seeing you all in Shetland soon.  Best wishes. PJM
