but that will only attract them mike. and i dont want to feed them

Hi Yusuf.

Yes Squirrels can be a pest, in my garden they have their own feeder and I do all I can to keep them off my bird feeders, you can get a feeder which hangs on a piece of wire and if squirrel do get on it a tube goes down over the feeder itself.

I hope this helps, in the meantime enjoy trying to beat the little dears !!!!

I have used a squirrel baffle for a about 3 years now, they do work....expensive initially but well worth the outlay!
where do i get a good one?
i thik i will use a baffle, but what about birds that feed on the ground or on tables, how to i squrriel proof a bird table?
or i need this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNPl8P8bfZ4&NR=1 :)

Hi Yusuf.

What I do on a birdtable is put a length of plastic drain pipe on the post, they find it hard to get a grip on it.

I find it usually works. and have the table away from trees etc far enough so they can't jump onto it.

Regards john.
