I dont mean to moan, but I think when you add pictures to TW one should add a heading as well.  I enjoy commenting on peoples photos as best I can but hate it when I see a bird of prey in flight and dont know what it is then look at the heading and find the picture number, I also rely on the pictures to further my knowledge and learn more no matter how good or bad a picture is.  Please please please add headings to your pictures so I can be sure of what I see, its pointless I think otherwise.  Lots of people are wanting comments on pictures so lets make it a bit easier.  YAY, moan over.

It would also help everybody if the settings used were put up as well, would help people just starting out, they can then get a rough idea of what works and what doesnt, and also helps when commenting, so you can explain why a picture does or doesnt work, incoreect shutter speed or aperture etc !
Yes, good point as well Ian.

I upload my photographs and I only get chance to label my photographs when I have time beacause as if you upload from your pc no title comes with it but when you transfer from flikr the title is transfered as well.

I dont know abou Flikr, but i know when I upload pics onto here you have the chance to add heading right away.  So just going on that.  There was a couple of your pics Mike that I would have like to comment on but dont know what the bird is.  I enjoy your work and enjoy commenting on it.  Especially your otter work and you RC Swan.

Thats fine Paula sorry about that and thanks for the comments, I will label a load up from my archives before I upload and then they will have a title already for when I upload 10 each day.

Yes, great point by Paula indeed - it is a grand way to improve one's knowledge and photography is ace to help folk achieve that :-)

Yes Paula, totally agree with you, we should title and describe our photos to help others comment, nice to know when, certainly where taken, would be appreciated more than just a left blank and a camera picture number left as the heading.  Sometimes though, after uploading I add title and description, you guessed it, I lose connection leaving an untitled and albumless photo. If for whatever reason I cannot reconnect then it'll take a little while to sort the problem out, having said that, the internet is available at the local library so I can carry on labelling if need be.  I'm sure we can all agree, a title and description will mean a photo is more appreciated.
